Trump accuses US media of fake news about his meeting with putin

US President Donald Trump said that some US media outlets are spreading fake news about his upcoming meeting with russian dictator vladimir putin. Trump wrote about this on his social network Truth Social on Wednesday, August 13.

In his opinion, the media would call the deal "bad" even if russia had given the US cities like Moscow and Leningrad for free. Trump stressed that these are "sick people" who "probably hate our country." According to him, it doesn't matter: "...because we win at everything!", the politician says.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 13, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that the planned meeting between US President Donald Trump and russian dictator vladimir putin in Alaska is not a concession to Moscow.

On August 12, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt reported that Trump will meet one on one with putin.
