The National Anti-Corruption Bureau, SAPO, BES, the Prosecutor General's Office, the State Bureau of Investigation, and the National Police were obliged to conduct polygraph tests on their employees at least once every two years according to a methodology agreed with the SSU.
This is evidenced by the final provisions of the law on strengthening the powers of NABU and SAPO, the Ukrainian News agency reports.

It is envisaged that the internal control unit of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the Bureau of Economic Security, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigation, and the National Police, using a methodology agreed upon with the Security Service of Ukraine, shall conduct polygraph examinations of employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, the Bureau of Economic Security, the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine, the State Bureau of Investigation, and the National Police, who have access to state secrets, at least once every two years, for the purpose of committing actions in favor of the aggressor state.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the SSU previously received an order from President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to check officials on a polygraph due to the leak of a draft agreement with the United States. NABU detectives were allowed to leave Ukraine only for official purposes. The National Agency on Corruption Prevention, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, and the Bureau of Economic Security are currently headed by former employees of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau.
