On August 9, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer the need for a sustainable peace for Ukraine and the danger of the russian plan to reduce everything to discussing the impossible.
Zelenskyy reported this on his official Facebook page.
"I spoke with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer. I am grateful for the support. We equally see the need for a truly sustainable peace for Ukraine and the danger of the russian plan to reduce everything to discussing the impossible," the Head of State noted.
According to him, "clear steps are needed, maximum coordination with our partners. We appreciate the determination of Britain, the United States, and all partners to end the war."
As President Zelenskyy added in his post on the social network, "we are actively working for constructive diplomacy and for solutions to work. We have agreed on the following contacts."
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Donald Trump has named the date and place of his meeting with russian dictator vladimir putin. They will meet on August 15 in Alaska.
