On the night of August 9 (from 10:30 pm on August 8), the russians attacked Ukraine, using 47 Shahed strike UAVs and various types of simulator drones, as well as two Iskander-K cruise missiles.
The Air Forces of the Armed Forces of the Armed Forces reported this on Telegram.
The russians launched their drones from the following directions: Kursk, Millerovo, Shatalovo - the russian federation, and the missiles were fired from the TOT of the Zaporizhzhia Region.
The strike UAVs attacked the front-line territories of the Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions, and the city of Dnipro was attacked with missiles.
The air attack was repelled by anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 09:00 am, air defense systems shot down/suppressed an Iskander-K cruise missile, 16 enemy Shahed UAVs, and various types of simulator drones in the north and east of the country.
31 UAVs hit 15 locations.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, today, August 9, in the morning, the russians launched cruise missiles at Dnipro.
