From September 1, all employees of territorial recruitment and social support centers are required to wear body cameras and conduct video recording during document verification or service of summons. This was announced by Defense Minister Denys Shmyhal on the Telegram channel, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"The Ministry of Defense is increasing the transparency of the work of the territorial recruitment and social support centers. From September 1, all employees of the territorial recruitment and social support centers are required to wear body cameras and conduct video recording during document verification or service of summons. In case of violation of the recording rules, disciplinary liability is provided," he said.
Shmyhal noted that this step will ensure transparency and legality of the activities of the territorial recruitment and social support centers notification groups, as well as protect the rights of both parties.
According to him, currently the provision of recording means is about 85%, work is underway to purchase additional means.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, at the end of July, Shmyhal stated that mobilization in Ukraine is proceeding according to plan and is 90% happening absolutely normally, while 5-10% of mobilization scandals play against society and national security, since in fact mobilization is a conscious decision of Ukrainians.
