The russians struck a deliberate blow at night on the preparation for Ukraine for the heating season. President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"Also at night - vile attacks on power grids in the Dnipropetrovsk Region, a drone attack on people in Kherson, an attack on a gas station in Novosilske in the Odesa Region. Hundreds of families were left without gas. And this was a deliberate blow to our preparations for the heating season, absolutely cynical, like every Russian attack on the energy sector," he said.
Zelenskyy also reported that after the russian strike on a recreation center in the Zaporizhzhia Region, 12 people were injured, two deaths are already known, and in the Kharkiv and Donetsk Regions, the russians also hit people's private homes.
The President stressed that russia will sincerely strive to end the war only after feeling the appropriate international pressure.
"And right now it is very important to strengthen all the levers in the arsenal of the United States, Europe and the G7 so that the ceasefire really comes immediately. Ukraine sees the political will, appreciates the efforts of our partners, America and everyone who helps. And we are counting on the necessary solutions," he noted.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the russian occupiers attacked the Izmail District of the Odesa Region with strike drones, and the gas infrastructure was damaged as a result of the shelling.
