Erdoğan's visit to Kyiv. Ambassador clarifies that there is no official confirmation of trip

The Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, Nariman Dzhelyal, denied information about the alleged planned visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Ukraine in the coming days.

He said this in a comment to Suspilne.

The Ambassador clarified that there is currently no official confirmation of the visit.

"On the instructions of the President of Ukraine, the Ukrainian side is working to ensure that such a visit takes place, but as of now there is no confirmation of the trip," he said.

Recall, on August 5, Türkiye reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Ukraine in the coming days at the invitation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
