The Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, Nariman Dzhelyal, denied information about the alleged planned visit of Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Ukraine in the coming days.
He said this in a comment to Suspilne.
The Ambassador clarified that there is currently no official confirmation of the visit.
"On the instructions of the President of Ukraine, the Ukrainian side is working to ensure that such a visit takes place, but as of now there is no confirmation of the trip," he said.
Recall, on August 5, Türkiye reported that Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will visit Ukraine in the coming days at the invitation of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
It should be noted that the publication directly quoted the Ambassador of Ukraine to Turkey, Nariman Dzhelyal: according to the words of the Ambassador provided to the publication, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan will allegedly visit Kyiv in the near future and one of the most important issues in the negotiations will be the ratification of the free trade agreement.
