Cabinet appoints Zinnikov as member of Sense Bank supervisory board

The Cabinet of Ministers has appointed Vitalii Zinnikov as member of Sense Bank supervisory board.

This is stated in the government order, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"To appoint Vitalii Oleksandrovych Zinnikov as a member of the supervisory board of Sense Bank joint stock company as a representative of the state from the President of Ukraine," the document states.

In addition, the government authorized the chairman of the board of Sense Bank joint stock company Oleksii Vitaliyovych Stupak to sign a civil law agreement with a member of the supervisory board.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in July 2023, the Ministry of Finance became the owner of Sense Bank and appointed Dmytro Kuzmin as the chairman of the bank's board instead of Alla Komisarenko.

On July 21, 2023, the Cabinet of Ministers decided to nationalize Sense Bank and buy it for UAH 1.

In April 2022, the NBU approved the proxy of Alfa-Bank (Ukraine) Simeon Djankov, who received the right to vote for shares owned by shareholders whose reputation was recognized as not impeccable.

In July 2022, Alfa-Bank (Ukraine) decided to rename itself Sense Bank.

In March 2023, the National Bank reported that it had received a letter from a potential investor in Sense Bank (formerly Alfa-Bank (Ukraine)), but did not receive the corresponding package of documents.

Also in March, the National Bank recognized the business reputation of the owners of a significant stake (shareholders) in JSC Sense Bank - ABH Holdings S.A. and ABH Ukraine Limited - as not impeccable.
