On the night of Tuesday, August 5, the russian army launched a massive strike on the city of Lozova in the Kharkiv Region. As a result of the attack, critical infrastructure, high-rise buildings and private houses were damaged.
This was reported by the Mayor of Lozova, Serhii Zelenskyi.
According to him, there are wounded in the city, among them two children. Their exact number is not yet specified. Rescuers, doctors and emergency services are working in the city.
"We are restoring the water supply. Part of the city remains without electricity, in particular Avylivka, as well as the Katerynivskyi starostynsky district," Zelenskyi wrote.
According to him, there have been changes in transport connections in the city.
"This night, the russians carried out real terror on peaceful people who were sleeping peacefully. Sooner or later, they will be responsible for everything," the mayor said.
Due to shelling in Lozova, the railway station was temporarily closed. For security reasons, changes have been made to the movement of suburban trains:

- No. 6852 Dubovo - Kharkiv-Passenger
- No. 6414 Kharkiv-Passenger - Lozova
The following routes are being operated on a changed route:
- No. 6651/6573 Orilka - Poltava-Pivdenna (instead of Lozova)
- No. 6512 Lymanivka - Kharkiv-Passenger (instead of Lozova)
As a reminder, on the night of August 5, the army of the aggressor state of russia inflicted a massive blow on the railway infrastructure of Lozova, Kharkiv Region - the station and other facilities were damaged. A mechanic was killed, four more railway workers were injured. Some trains are running on a bypass route.
