The head of the Kyiv City Military Administration, Tymur Tkachenko, reported that after the nightly combined attack on the capital, the number of victims has increased to six people, including a child.
"Currently, the services have confirmed 6 dead. 4 of them in the Sviatoshynskyi District, 2 in Solomianskyi. Among the dead is a child, a six-year-old boy," Tkachenko wrote on his Telegram.
The entrance of a residential building was destroyed in the Sviatoshynskyi District. According to the mayor, emergency services are working on the scene.
He added that the search and rescue operation at the sites of the strikes is ongoing.
On the night of July 31, russian troops carried out a combined shelling of Kyiv, using drones and missiles. As of 7 a.m., two dead and 52 wounded were known. In the Sviatoshynskyi District, the entrance to a residential building was partially destroyed as a result of a hit, traffic was blocked on a number of streets in the city, and emergency services continue to work at the affected areas.
