In accordance with the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Naftogaz of Ukraine national joint stock company transferred UAH 10.4 billion in dividends for 2024 and income tax to the state budget.
This is stated in the group's message, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The rest of the profit, in accordance with the Government's order, Naftogaz has already directed to preparing the country for winter, in particular, the purchase of imported gas.
It is noted that in accordance with the order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine was to pay dividends to the state no later than July 30, 2025.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as of July 13, according to ENTSO-G, the UGS already contained 4.05 billion cubic meters of active gas, or a total of about 8.5 billion cubic meters, including buffer gas.
Ukraine is actively pumping natural gas into underground gas storage facilities (UGS), reducing the backlog from last year.
