Deposit Guarantee Fund sells assets of former "subsidiaries" of russian banks for UAH 5.5 billion

The Deposit Guarantee Fund sold assets of former "subsidiaries" of russian banks through online auctions Prozorro. Sales amounted to almost UAH 5.5 billion.

This is stated in the message of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

These are assets of former subsidiaries of russian banks JSC MR Bank (formerly Sberbank) and PJSC Prominvestbank.

Over three years, the Deposit Guarantee Fund has successfully sold almost 600 lots of former "subsidiaries" of russian banks through online auctions.

These are bank buildings, suburban complexes, administrative premises, land plots, office equipment, cars, property rights and claims under loan agreements.

Among the successfully sold lots:

- Claims under loan agreements with collateral in the form of a solar power plant and its equipment – UAH 683 million.

- Country complex in Kozyn (Kyiv Region) — UAH 311.1 million. In particular, the lot includes residential buildings, a restaurant, and administrative buildings.

- Bank building with an extension for a private secondary school in Kyiv — UAH 107.8 million.

- Former bank branch in the center of the capital — UAH 84.4 million.

The most active competition was for cars: an average of 8 participants came to the car auction.

Record competition was during the Volkswagen Passat auction — 48 participants.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, JSC MR Bank and PJSC Prominvestbank were withdrawn from the Ukrainian market on the second day of a full-scale invasion.

The assets of these banks appeared on the Prozorro.Sales auction at the end of July 2022.
