On July 28, 172 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axes were Pokrovsk (57 clashes) and Lyman (32).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update on Facebook, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 90 air strikes using 149 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy carried out 5,922 attacks, including 61 from multiple launch rocket systems, and used 3,859 kamikaze drones for destruction.
On July 28, 172 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, 10 combat clashes took place on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes.
The russians carried out 14 air strikes here, dropping 28 guided bombs and carrying out 308 attacks, including eight with MLRS.
On the southern Slobozhanshchyna axis, the enemy stormed the positions of Ukrainian units in the areas of Vovchansk, Zelene and Krasne Pershe seven times.
On the Kupiansk axis, there were six attacks by the invaders in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Kindrashivka and Lozova.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy attacked 32 times, trying to wedge into the defenses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Novoiehorivka, Karpivka, Zelena Dolyna, Yampolivka and towards Dronivka and Serebrianka.
On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian soldiers stopped four enemy attacks near Hryhorivka and towards Vyimka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the invaders attacked once in the direction of Predtechyne.
On the Torets axis, the russians carried out 10 attacks in the areas of Dyliivka, Toretsk, Oleksandro-Kalynove and Rusyn Yar.
On the Pokrovsk axis, the Ukrainian defenders stopped 57 assault actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Maiak, Novoekonomichne, Razine, Lysivka, Chunyshyne, Zvirove, Kotlyne, Udachne, Novomykolaivka, Horikhove, Zelenyi Kut and Dachne.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy carried out 17 attacks in the areas of the settlements of Zelenyi Hai, Zelene Pole, Piddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Shevchenko, Voskresenko and Temyrivka.
On the Orikhiv axis, the occupation troops once tried to storm the positions of the Defense Forces near the settlement of Kamianske.
On the Dnieper axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled five attacks of the invaders.
On the Huliaipole axis, no combat clashes were recorded.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck five areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, two command posts, an ammunition depot and two enemy artillery pieces.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on July 28 amounted to 1,050 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 27, 158 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most of all on the Pokrovsk (57 clashes) and Lyman (18) axes.
