NATO believes that russia may attack Europe in 2027. In particular, Poland may be under attack.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk reported this on the social network X.
According to Tusk, he had a conversation with NATO's commander in Europe, Alexus Hrynkevich, who informed him that russia would be ready for a confrontation with Europe, and therefore with Poland, as early as 2027.
As a result, Tusk stated the need to prepare for a possible armed aggression from the russian federation. In his opinion, all of Europe should take care of security, and Poland - first of all.
Not only American intelligence data, but also Polish, indicate a possible russian attack, Polish Deputy Minister of National Defense Cezary Tomczyk said on July 25 on the air of the program "Guest of Radio Zet", quoted by the Polskie Radio 24 portal.
"Our special services also point to such a possible scenario. NATO commanders and we ourselves are talking about this," Tomczyk emphasized.
He noted that this maximum readiness of the European armed forces is needed in order to "send a clear signal" to russia and China, from which there is a potential threat, that Europe is aware of their plans and seeks to prevent them.
