A group of children managed to return to Ukraine from the temporarily occupied territories. This was reported by the head of the President's Office, Andrii Yermak, on his Telegram channel on Friday, July 25.
Yermak noted that each of these children's stories is evidence of indomitable spirit and strength.
"Among those rescued is a 13-year-old girl who was forbidden to speak Ukrainian at school; a boy who was taken to the russian federation, and his mother was able to pick him up despite numerous obstacles; a teenager who became withdrawn into his shell due to pressure and propaganda; a child who was afraid to even mention the name of his country," the head of the President's Office wrote.
All children are currently safe.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 18, a group of children who were subjected to persecution, interrogations and torture because of the Ukrainian language and their reluctance to study in a russian school were returned from the temporarily occupied territories.
On July 8, seven Ukrainian children, whose families were under constant pressure from the russian occupiers, were returned to the territory controlled by Ukraine. On July 11, a 17-year-old teenager, whose brothers served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was returned from the temporarily occupied territory.
