Chechnya leader Ramzan Kadyrov was on the verge of death while on vacation in Turkey. The incident occurred on the afternoon of July 24 in the Kaynar district of the Turkish resort of Bodrum. This is reported by the Turkish publication Milliyet.
According to media reports, Kadyrov was swimming in the sea near a five-star hotel when he suddenly began to sink. Rescuers from the hotel staff came to the rescue, pulled him ashore and called doctors.
After providing first aid, the russian official was taken by ambulance to a private hospital. According to preliminary data, his life is not in danger. Doctors said that Kadyrov was under observation, but "his condition is stable, there is no threat to his life."
There have been no official comments from Kadyrov himself or his press service yet.
As previously reported, at the end of June, Kadyrov married his 17-year-old son Adam, whom the media calls the successor to the leader of putin's regime in Chechnya.
