On July 23, 172 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axes were Pokrovsk (61 clashes) and Lyman (28).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out 67 air strikes on the positions of Ukrainian units and settlements using 123 guided bombs and involved 3,712 kamikaze drones.
The enemy also carried out 5,756 artillery attacks, including 81 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On July 23, 172 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes, Ukrainian soldiers repelled 12 attacks by the invaders.
The enemy also launched 9 air strikes here, using 21 guided bombs, and carried out 368 attacks, six of which were from MLRS.
On the South-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the russians tried in vain 10 times to advance on the areas of the settlements of Vovchansk, Kamyanka, Dvorichna and in the direction of Petro-Ivanivka.
On the Kupyansk axis, nine attacks by the invaders took place.
The defense forces repelled the enemy's assault actions in the areas of Stepova Novoselivka, Borivska Andriivka, Holubivka, Zahryzove, Novoplatonivka.
On the Lyman axis, 28 combat clashes occurred.
The enemy tried to advance near the settlements of Hrekivka, Zelenyi Hay, Serednie, Shandryholove, Dronivka, Novyi Mir, Karpivka, Kolodiazi, Shypylivka and in the direction of Druzheliubivka, Serebrianka.
On the Siversk axis, Ukrainian troops repelled four enemy attacks on the area of Hryhorivka.
On the Kramatorsk axis, the russians carried out three attacks in the area of Chasiv Yar, Stupochky and Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian units of the defenders in the area of Toretsk four times.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 61 assault actions of the aggressor near the settlements of Rusyn Yar, Myroliubivka, Zatyshok, Lysivka, Popiv Yar, Myrnohrad, Zvirove, Udachne, Oleksiivka, Novoukrainka, Mayak, Novoekonomichne, Kotlyne, Dachne and in the direction of Pokrovsk, Pankivka, Volodymyrivka, Sukhetske.
On the Novopavlivka axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled 15 attacks of the invaders in the areas of the settlements of Zaporizhzhia, Zirka, Piddubne, Oleksandrohrad, Shevchenko, Maliivka, Temyrivka, Voskresenka and Vilne Pole.
On the Huliaipole axis, the enemy once stormed the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of Bilohiria.
On the Orikhiv axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled three attacks in the area of Mala Tokmachka.
On the Dnieper axis, enemy units tried to advance nine times - but were unsuccessful.
Over the past day, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces hit 12 areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, one ammunition depot, one command post and three artillery pieces of the russian invaders.
In total, the losses of the russian occupiers on July 23 amounted to 1,050 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on July 22, 167 combat clashes took place at the front, the enemy attacked most of all on the Pokrovsk (74 clashes) and Lyman (21) axes.
