Russia wants to use protests in Ukraine to destabilize state from within – Defense Intelligence

The aggressor country russia wants to use protests in Ukraine related to the adoption of Law No. 12414 to undermine, weaken and destroy world support and weaken resistance in the war. This is stated in a message of the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine on Wednesday, July 23.

In particular, the situation inside Ukraine is being studied by propagandists and kremlin special services in order to discredit the state's support through protests. According to the Defense Intelligence’s estimates, in order to weaken resistance, russia wants to take advantage of public discontent and escalate the situation as much as possible.

"To increase the degree of protests, deepen the polarization and chaos of Ukrainian society, and, as a result, the loss of the state's stability during an existential war, provocative actions inspired by Moscow are not excluded," the message says.

The Defense Intelligence called for a balanced assessment of events and actions.
