Part of Sumy left without electricity, infrastructure damaged due to russian strike

On the night of July 23, the russian army attacked Sumy, as a result of the occupiers' strike, part of the city was left without electricity. This was reported by the mayor of the city, Artem Kobzar, on the Telegram channel.

It is reported that as a result of another attack by the russian occupiers on Sumy, civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.

"The enemy again attacked the civilian infrastructure facilities of our city. As a result, part of Sumy was left without electricity. Some medical facilities are operating on generators," Kobzar said.

He also reported that all relevant services are already working to eliminate the consequences of the emergency situation and restore electricity supply.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Friday, July 18, russian troops struck the city of Sumy with strike drones, at least one of which was equipped with shrapnel ammunition.

On July 14, russian occupiers attacked the Sumy community for the third time in a day, targeting a medical facility. One person was injured.

The previous morning, an enemy UAV attacked one of the educational institutions on the territory of the Sumy community. Previously, six people were injured in the first strike - three women and three men.
