Conflict in Kyiv subway. Police bring to justice girl who was beaten for chanting slogans in support of russia

Law enforcement officers brought to justice a girl who was hit several times by a man in the Kyiv subway because of chanting slogans in support of the aggressor state of russia.

This was reported by the Kyiv police.

Earlier, law enforcement officers began an investigation into the fact of a video discovered on social networks, in which a passenger, being in a car of a red line train of the Kyiv subway, shouted slogans in favor of the aggressor state of russia.

A 25-year-old Kyiv resident, a participant in the conflict, explained during a conversation with law enforcement officers that due to problems in her personal life she had consumed an excessive amount of alcohol and did not remember her further actions.

The police have drawn up an administrative report against the violator under Article 173 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses. The sanction of the article provides for the imposition of a fine, community service, correctional labor, or administrative arrest for a term of up to 15 days.

In the future, the SSU officers will communicate with the girl.

In addition, in the comments to users' questions about the man who struck, the police clarified that all participants in the incident who appeared in the video have been identified and interviewed. It is indicated that the girl has denied any accusations against the man.

"If she files a complaint with the police, the actions of the other participant in the conflict will be given a legal assessment in accordance with the norms of current legislation," the police added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Kyiv police previously launched an investigation into a conflict between passengers in the capital's subway, which was recorded on video and distributed online. According to it, the man hit the woman who was expressing supportive slogans in favor of the aggressor country of russia.

It should be noted that the video shared on social networks shows the man hitting the woman several times on the head and also on the legs. Other passengers both protest against the beating and justify the man, since the woman expressed support for the aggressor country of russia.
