The Prosecutor General specified that Molochnyi hit a pedestrian in a pedestrian zone on Velyka Vasylkivska Street, after hitting the woman he fled the scene. However, he has now been detained.

In the meantime, the victim is being provided with the necessary medical assistance.

"This is shocking. I emphasize once again: belonging to the prosecutor's office is not an indulgence, it is a responsibility. I am taking this case under control. And, as the Prosecutor General, I will represent the interests of the victim in court. Such behavior is a disgrace to the entire system. It must be severely punished. And I promise, it will be so. The law and the rule of law are one for everyone," the Prosecutor said.

Kravchenko also personally apologized for "this shameful act of a prosecutor's office employee."
