Russia attacks Vinnytsia with drones: infrastructure and houses damaged, there are victims

On the night of July 16, russian troops struck Vinnytsia with drones, hitting industrial and civilian infrastructure facilities. The number of victims has increased to eight people.

As the first deputy head of the Vinnytsia Regional Military Administration, Natalya Zabolotna, reported on Facebook, "as a result of the enemy attack in the city of Vinnytsia, civilian infrastructure facilities have been hit. All relevant services are working at the scene."

As of 6:40 a.m., according to her, there are already seven victims in Vinnytsia: five with burns, two in serious condition, three in moderate condition. "The hit on industrial infrastructure facilities. The fire has been localized at one of the facilities. Rescuers are still working on the other," Zabolotna added.

Four residential buildings were also damaged.

"A total of 8 injured. 5 of them - with burns. These are employees of enterprises. 2 with severe burns, 3 with moderate ones. The other three are passers-by who were near the places of hits, with minor injuries," reported later Zabolotna.

As of 8:00 a.m., one fire has been extinguished, work is ongoing at another facility.

To eliminate the consequences of armed aggression, the State Emergency Service has deployed 116 rescuers and 30 units of equipment, and a fire train has been deployed from the railway.

In total, according to the Regional Military Administration, 28 enemy drones attacked the Vinnytsia Region that night, of which 18 were approximately destroyed.

Earlier, the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported the movement of enemy drones in the direction of Vinnytsia. Explosions were heard in the city several times.

As a reminder, in the Zaporizhzhia Region, an air alert lasted for 16 hours in a row due to an attack by Shaheds.
