The State Logistics Operator is implementing a new marketplace for the supply of UAVs to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Alyona Zhuzha, IT advisor at the State Logistics Operator and director of the digitalization department at the Defense Procurement Agency, has reported this.
Chain defense is a marketplace that simplifies and significantly speeds up the supply of weapons to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. It is a catalog of goods purchased by the Defense Procurement Agency and provides an infrastructure through which orders can be placed.
"Now we know that there are many complaints about the current processes, they are quite stretched in time. We need to provide a single environment in which these processes can be accelerated. So that everyone can see everything they need," says Alyona Zhuzha.
With the help of Chain defense, the time for processing transactions is significantly reduced thanks to the digital environment.
"Now military units submit an application in the fall of the year preceding the one in which funds will be allocated for the purchase of drones. And then they wait for the purchases and deliveries. And they don't fully understand whether they will arrive or not. In this form or in another. And here you order and immediately understand that in two weeks, if this product is in stock, you can count on it," the councilor said.
Units will also have the opportunity to choose which drone they need. They go to the marketplace and can choose from what is offered.
