On the night of Saturday, July 12, russian troops launched 26 missiles and 597 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 25 missiles and 319 UAVs, another 258 simulator drones were lost in location.
The press service of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of July 12 (from 6 p.m. on July 11) the enemy attacked with 623 means of air attack:
- 597 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo – the russian federation (339 – Shaheds);
- 26 Kh-101 cruise missiles from the airspace of the Saratov Oblast – the russian federation.
"According to preliminary data, as of 10 a.m., air defenses shot down 344 enemy air attack means:
- 319 enemy Shahed UAVs;
- 25 Kh-101 cruise missiles.
In addition, 258 simulator drones were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare," the report says.
1 missile hit and 20 strike UAVs were recorded in 5 locations, as well as the fall of downed ones in 19 locations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Friday, July 11, the russians launched 79 drones over the territory of Ukraine, air defense forces managed to shoot down 44 UAVs, and another 16 drones were lost in location.
