On the morning of July 11, russian troops struck Kharkiv with drones. As a result of the attack, a fire broke out in the city and there are injured.
This was reported by the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Oleh Syniehubov, and the mayor of Kharkiv Ihor Terekhov.
"The occupiers are attacking with drones. An explosion was heard in the city," Syniehubov wrote.
Later, local public media reported repeated explosions.
According to Terekhov, the occupiers struck the city center, in the residential area, there are injured.
"In the city center, a working medical facility was damaged as a result of enemy shelling - according to initial information, windows flew out there, but the building is being inspected," noted the mayor.
In the Saltivskyi district, hits were recorded in a three-story building and in the courtyard. The building was destroyed, structural elements caught fire, the fire covered about 20 sq. m.
Syniehubov reported that a 64-year-old man was injured in the Saltivskyi district. According to Terekhov, at least three people were injured.
"The morning explosions hit a maternity hospital, where women in labor with babies were. Now we will evacuate them to another medical facility. Fortunately, none of them were injured," the mayor added.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, 232 civilians were killed in russian attacks in June. This is more than in any other month of the war.
