Ukraine received another EUR 1 billion from the European Union – the sixth tranche of macro-financial assistance within the framework of the G7 Extraordinary Revenue Acceleration for Ukraine (ERA) initiative at the expense of russian assets.
Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Shmyhal noted that the ERA initiative launched together with the G7 is working, since the beginning of the year more than USD 18.5 billion has already been transferred to Ukraine at the expense of russian frozen money.
"We are sending these funds to Ukraine's stability and "rapid reconstruction"," the Prime Minister noted.
Shmyhal reported that at the Ukraine Restoration Conference in Rome (URC-2025), which is taking place on July 10-11, Ukraine calls on partners to jointly form legal instruments for the complete confiscation of all russian assets.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in June, Ukraine received EUR 1 billion from the EU - the fifth tranche from the EU within the framework of the ERA initiative.
ERA provides for the allocation of USD 50 billion to Ukraine, of which the EU contribution is EUR 18.1 billion (USD 20 billion), Ukraine has already attracted EUR 8 billion from the EU.
