On the night of Thursday, July 10, russian troops launched 397 drones and 18 missiles of various types over the territory of Ukraine, the air defense forces managed to shoot down 164 UAVs and 14 missiles.
It is noted that on the night of July 10 (from 6 p.m. on July 9), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 415 air attack means:
- 397 strike UAVs and simulator drones of various types, including about 200 Shaheds, from the directions of Bryansk, Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Kursk, Oryol and Millerovo (all – russian federation);
- 8 Iskander-M ballistic missiles from the Bryansk Oblast (russian federation);
- 6 Kh-101 cruise missiles from the airspace of the Saratov Oblast (russian federation);
- 4 S-300 long-range surface-to-air guided missiles from the Kursk Oblast (russian federation).
The main direction of the strike was the city of Kyiv.
According to preliminary data, as of 10:00 a.m., air defense systems shot down 178 enemy air attack means:
- 164 Shahed drones;
- 8 Iskander-M ballistic missiles;
- 6 Kh-101 cruise missiles.
In addition, 204 drones/missiles were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare (EW) means.
Enemy air attack means hit in 8 locations (33 attack UAVs), as well as the fall of those shot down in 23 locations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, last night the russians launched a massive strike on Kyiv – destruction was recorded in 7 districts of the capital; 2 people were killed and 16 injured.
The occupiers also attacked the Kyiv Region for 10 hours using drones and missiles.
The consequences of the enemy attack were recorded in 6 districts of the region, one person was injured.
