President Trump once again doubts that putin wants peace

US President Donald Trump suggested that vladimir putin does not want a ceasefire in Ukraine, but "to keep killing people."

According to the Australian broadcaster ABC NEWS, he told reporters on Friday evening aboard Air Force One.

Speaking about his conversation with Volodymyr Zelenskyy the day before, Trump recalled how he had previously spoken to the Kremlin's leader.

"I told you before that I was very unhappy with the conversation with putin. It seems like he wants to go all the way and keep killing people. It's not good. It's bad. I was unhappy," he said.

At the same time, the US President does not believe that by refusing a ceasefire, putin is "mocking" him.

"I think he's very concerned about sanctions. The Senate, as you know, is preparing sanctions, large-scale sanctions," Trump recalled.
