The State Property Fund, which determined LLC Petro Oil & Chemicals as the winner of the privatization auction of the Construction Company Ukrbud state joint-stock company, refused to approve the results of the electronic auction for the sale of a large privatization object.
This is stated on the Prozorro.Sales website, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The report states that on June 30, after receiving a memorandum from the Department of Economic Security, the Petro Oil & Chemicals company of Georgian businessman David Bezhuashvili, which offered UAH 805 million for Ukrbud, was disqualified.
"Individuals and legal entities against whom special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions) have been applied in accordance with the Law of Ukraine "On Sanctions", as well as persons related to them, cannot be buyers."
It is noted that the right to privatization has been transferred to Techno-online LLC, which offered one hryvnia less.
Techno-online was registered in 2007 in Sumy.
The main activity is wholesale trade in iron products, plumbing and heating equipment.
The beneficiary is Maryna Ayab.
If the deal is concluded, Techno-online will receive an enterprise that includes 88 buildings, structures and non-residential premises, as well as 17 land plots.
In Kyiv, the company has 19 objects with an area of 27,158.9 sq. m.
There is also real estate in Lviv, Kharkiv, Odesa and Dnipro.
Some of the lots consist of several objects, which increases their complex value.

Construction Company Ukrbud is one of the companies related to another legal entity – Ukrainian State Construction Corporation Ukrbud.
"The President of the State Corporation Ukrbud during 2010-2016 was the former membe of the Verkhovna Rada Maksym Mykytas.
"He built his own private construction business, using the brand of the state company.
"At the same time, Construction Company Ukrbud, transferred for privatization, was mainly engaged in industrial construction.
