Russian troops shell hospital in Kherson: 8 injured, including doctors and patients

Kherson, July 2 — on the evening of July 1, the russian army attacked a medical facility in Kherson. As a result of the shelling, eight people were injured — five patients and three medical workers.

The head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, has reported this.

"At about 11:00 p.m., the occupiers shelled the hospital. The building suffered significant damage," he noted.

Among the injured is a 44-year-old employee of the medical facility, who was hospitalized with an explosive injury, contusion and shrapnel wound to the chest. Two more women, 54 and 44 years old, received medical care on an outpatient basis.

Four injured patients remain in the hospital: two men (58 and 60 years old) and two women (64 and 57 years old). All of them suffered from blast injuries, contusions and shrapnel wounds.

In addition, a 69-year-old woman refused hospitalization after receiving medical care.
