Air Defense Forces destroyed 4,750 air targets launched by the aggressor country of russia over ukraine in June. The Air Force reported this on Tuesday, July 1.
During June 2025, Air Defense Forces destroyed 4,750 air targets, including:
- 93 Kh-101/Kh-55SM cruise missiles;
- 14 Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles;
- 12 Kalibr cruise missiles;
- 13 Kh-59/69 guided aircraft missiles;
- 27 Iskander-K cruise missiles;
- 2,453 Shahed strike UAVs;
- 659 reconnaissance UAVs;
- 1,479 UAVs of other types.
The Air Force aviation carried out 895 sorties during May, including:
- about 580 - for fighter air cover;
- more than 220 - for fire damage and air support of the troops.
"In June 2025, the aviation of the Defense Forces of Ukraine destroyed 646 air targets, hit command posts, logistical support facilities, as well as places of accumulation of enemy manpower and equipment," the report says.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 1, the Defense Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine showed exclusive footage of the combat operation of Ukrainian-made UJ-26 drones (better known as the "Bober") in the territory of Crimea temporarily occupied by russians.
