On the night of July 1, an earthquake of magnitude 3.1 (on the Richter scale) occurred in the Poltava Region. This was reported by the Main Center for Special Control.
It is reported that the tremors were recorded at a depth of 7 km at 01:23 at night. According to the classification of earthquakes, it is not felt.
"On July 1, 2025 at 01:23:29, the Main Center for Special Control registered an earthquake in the area of the village of Karpusi, Poltava district, Poltava Region, with a magnitude of 3.1 (on the Richter scale), at a depth of 7 kilometers," the Center for Special Control noted.

Recall that in May, the Odesa Region was hit by an earthquake with a magnitude of 4.6, which occurred in Romania.
On May 31, two earthquakes occurred in the Zakarpattia Region. The tremors were not felt.
