Vice Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity Oleksii Chernyshov has not yet posted UAH 120 million of bail.
Ukrainian News Agency was informed about this in the Anti-Corruption Court.
Chernyshov must post bail within 5 working days. As of today, such bail has not been posted.
He can post bail either on his own or someone else can post such bail.
In the event of failure to post bail, another preventive measure may be applied to Chernyshov. The prosecutor may file another motion to change the preventive measure from bail to a more severe one, for example, house arrest, or detention.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the High Anti-Corruption Court set a bail of UAH 120 million with obligations for Vice Prime Minister - Minister of National Unity Oleksii Chernyshov. After posting bail, Chernyshov is obliged to: appear at the first summons; report any change of residence and work; not leave Ukraine without permission and not communicate with a number of persons. On June 23, Chernyshov was served with suspicion of abuse of office and obtaining unlawful benefits in an especially large amount for himself and third parties. On June 16, Chernyshov reported that he was on an official visit to Austria. On June 18, journalist Mykhailo Tkach stated that Chernyshov had not returned from a foreign trip. Recall, on June 16, MP from European Solidarity Oleksii Honcharenko reported, citing his own sources, that NABU was preparing a suspicion directly against Chernyshov.
