Numerous tornadoes swept through South Dakota (USA), simultaneously frightening and mesmerizing locals with their size and bizarre shape, as if dancing. The "terrible beauty" left behind destruction, but there were no fatalities, Dakota News reports.
"Straight from the movie "Twister". Straight from the fairy tale "The Wizard of Oz". It was so wild! We were about four miles away [6.4 km - ed.], but it seemed that the tornado was only a mile away. It was so big. I have never seen anything like it," described the tornado by local resident Curtis Mulder.
But the bad weather did not end there and supplemented the spectacular program with heavy rain and hail, which later prompted the weather service to issue a flash flood warning.

"I've lived here for over thirty years and I've never experienced a storm like this - and I don't want to again," said local resident of Gary Sarah Guest with a smile.
The "dancing tornado" attracted the attention of daredevils who hunt for deadly beautiful natural phenomena. The Deuel County Sheriff's Office cursed at them.
"Emergency responders encountered numerous problems during the response due to storm chasers and other drivers blocking access to critical areas," the department said.
In the last week of June, heat records were broken in more than 280 US cities, and even higher temperatures are expected in the coming days, Axios reports.
It is worth noting that the beginning of the week in Ukraine will be marked by moderate temperatures and unstable weather, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
However, closer to the weekend, one should expect real summer heat. Warm air from the Balkans is approaching the country, which will significantly increase temperature indicators - especially in the southern, central regions and in the Zakarpattia Region, where in places the thermometer will reach +35…+38 °C.
