Amid russia's claims of significant progress on the fronts, Ukrainian analysts have confirmed limited advance of the russian army in the Zaporizhzhia Region, in particular in the Huliaipole Axis.
As the DeepState project reported on June 29, russian troops have established themselves within the settlement of Malynivka in the Polohivskyi district. The information is reflected on the resource's updated interactive maps.
According to the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as of the evening of June 29, Ukrainian defenders continued to restrain the offensive, in particular, repelling two attacks in the area of the aforementioned Malynivka.

Meanwhile, despite the Kremlin's bravura statements about "significant progress" in the Zaporizhzhia and Dnipropetrovsk Regions, analysts at the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) have not recorded significant changes on the front. The ISW report states that on June 28-29, russian troops did indeed intensify their operations in this direction, but "did not achieve significant progress."
Recall that the summer offensive of the army of the aggressor state of russia is slowing down just a few weeks after its start, despite a record number of attacks on several fronts. The large number of attacks did not lead to significant breakthroughs on the battlefield.
