"Moscow will not stop as long as it has ability to deliver massive strikes" – Zelenskyy after russian night attack

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy reacted to the nightly combined shelling of the aggressor country, the russian federation. He stressed that the russians will not stop as long as they have the ability to deliver massive strikes, so pressure is needed on the aggressor, as well as protection for Ukraine. He wrote about this on his Telegram channel.

Thus, the President said that almost all night long there was an alarm in Ukraine, 477 drones were recorded in the sky, most of which were russian-Iranian Shaheds, and 60 missiles of various types.

"The russians hit everything that provides life. There is also a hit on a residential building in Smila, a child is injured. Emergency services are working wherever necessary. Unfortunately, while repelling the attack, our F-16 pilot Maksym Ustymenko died. Today he destroyed seven air targets. My condolences to his family and comrades. I have instructed to find out all the circumstances of the death. Ukrainian aviation heroically defends the sky. Thank you to everyone who defends Ukraine," he added.

Zelenskyy also noted that in total this week russia launched more than 114 missiles, more than 1,270 drones and almost 1,100 KABs at Ukraine.

"Moscow will not stop as long as it has the ability to inflict massive strikes. Putin has long decided that it will continue to fight despite the world's calls for peace. The war needs to be ended, pressure needs to be put on the aggressor, protection needs to be provided. From ballistics, missiles and drones, from terror. Ukraine needs to strengthen its air defense. What best protects life. These are American systems that we are ready to buy. We are counting on the leadership, political will and support of the United States, Europe and all our partners. Thank you to everyone who helps," the President emphasized.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of Sunday, June 29, the military of the aggressor country of russia launched 537 air attack means against Ukraine. Most of the enemy targets were shot down by Ukrainian defenders, but there are also hits.
