A-95 gasoline getting more expensive: another +3 UAH per liter predicted in near future

The price of A-95 gasoline has increased again at Ukrainian gas stations. As of June 25, the average cost of fuel reached UAH 58.91 per liter - a kopeck more than the previous day. However, over the past few days, gasoline has become more expensive: as early as Friday, June 20, it was sold at an average of UAH 57.65 per liter, i.e. the increase for the week was UAH 1.26.

According to the A-95 Consulting Group, prices at large gas station chains currently range from UAH 54 to UAH 61.99 per liter. The highest prices were recorded at the following gas stations:

  • WOG and OKKO - UAH 61.99 per liter each;
  • Shell - UAH 61.95 per liter ;
  • SOCAR - UAH 60.66 per liter;
  • Parallel - UAH 60.16 per liter.

The cheapest fuel is currently offered by the Ukr-Petrol network - UAH 54 per liter.

Fuel market analysts warn of further price increases. The founder of the Prime group, Dmytro Leushkin, believes that the cost of gasoline may increase by another UAH 3 per liter. According to him, the latest jump in wholesale prices - by 5.85% or UAH 2.82 per liter - was caused not so much by economic reasons as by panic, in particular due to the aggravation of the situation between Iran and Israel.

At the same time, Leushkin assumes that this increase is temporary, and the market will stabilize over time.

Recall that due to instability in the market and the danger of shipping in the Strait of Hormuz area, gasoline prices in Ukraine may increase significantly.
