The number of victims in the city of Dnipro as a result of the missile attack carried out by russia on June 24 has increased. This was reported by the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Lysak, in Telegram.
"Unfortunately, the number of victims of missile strikes on the city of Dnipro has increased. There are currently 20 of them. Including the deaths in the city of Samar, there are 22," Lysak noted.
According to updated data, 304 people were injured in the strike, 112 of whom remain in hospitals, including 7 children.
Recall that on the morning of June 24, the russian army attacked the city of Dnipro with ballistic missiles. As a result of the hits, residential buildings, several hostels and educational institutions were damaged.
One of the missiles hit next to a passenger train traveling along the Odesa-Zaporizhzhia route. The neighboring city of Samar (formerly Novomoskovsk) was also hit by the invaders.
The city's infrastructure, educational and medical institutions, administrative buildings, State Emergency Service facilities, and a passenger train carrying over 500 people were damaged. Other settlements in the region, including the city of Samar, were also hit.
In connection with the tragedy, June 25 was declared a day of mourning in the Dnipropetrovsk Region.
