The Ukrposhta joint-stock company and the US Postal Service have signed an agreement that has been in preparation for over two years.
The company’s CEO Ihor Smilianskyi announced this on his Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
The message states that they agreed to open four airports for delivery in the near future (Los Angeles, Chicago, Miami and New York) so that the already fast delivery to the US will become even faster.
Smilianskyi noted that prices will not change, and all customers will soon see even better delivery times to the US, which will decrease from 8-10 days to 6-8.
Tariffs for heavier parcels will become better.
“We already have a very cool offer for customers for light Prime parcels. We agreed to expand it to parcels up to 5 kg. The implementation time is between October 1, 2025 and January 1, 2026,” Smilianskyi wrote.
The head of Ukrposhta added that the US Postal Service team promised to do everything possible, given its status and the signed agreement, to convince Amazon and other platforms to open direct delivery to Ukraine.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, Ukrposhta is reducing limits on cash on delivery from July 1.
