Macron condemns russian attacks on Dnipro and other cities in Ukraine

French President Emmanuel Macron has condemned the attacks by the aggressor state russia on the city of Dnipro in the afternoon of June 24, as well as on other cities in Ukraine. He stressed that the russian federation continues to reject the peace proposed by US President Donald Trump.

He wrote about this on X.

"With President Zelenskyy on the sidelines of the NATO Summit to reaffirm France's unwavering support. I strongly condemned the massive Russian attack on Dnipro and the recent strikes on Ukrainian cities in the past weeks," the message said.

Macron stressed that although Ukraine agreed to the ceasefire proposed by US President Donald Trump more than three months ago, russia continues to reject peace.

“Russia bombs, kills, and violates international law without ever being held accountable. Russia cannot be allowed to go on killing with impunity. Alongside our partners, we will continue to exert pressure to achieve a strong, lasting, and credible peace in Ukraine,” he added.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in the city of Dnipro, the number of deaths due to the strike by the aggressor country russia has increased to 17 people, with 279 injured.
