US President Donald Trump has announced a ceasefire between Iran and Israel, after which the war will be considered over. This is reported by CNN.
It will be announced that Iran must cease fire first, and 12 hours after that - Israel, and after a day the war between these countries will be considered over.
"Officially, Iran will begin a ceasefire, and at the 12th hour, Israel will begin a ceasefire, and at the 24th hour, the world will welcome the official end of the 12-day war. During each ceasefire, the other side will remain peaceful and respectful," Trump added.
Trump said that the agreement was agreed by both countries.
"Assuming that everything works out as it should and will, I would like to congratulate both countries, Israel and Iran, for having the stamina, courage and intelligence to end what should be called the '12-day war,'" he said.
He also said that the war between Israel and Iran could go on for years and destroy the entire Middle East, but thanks to the ceasefire, that won't happen.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Iran launched a missile strike on a US airbase in Qatar - Doha condemned the attack and declared its right to respond.
It is also reported that Iran likely moved some of its enriched uranium and some equipment from its nuclear facilities before the United States launched airstrikes on them.
