The Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) head Vasyl Maliuk said that more and more women are involved in special operations. And after successful completion of tasks, their appearance and documents are changed.
He told journalists about this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Our agents carry out tasks behind enemy lines. We conduct top operations. You have seen, in addition to Spider Web, how much we have done. There are specific names and specific faces behind this. I highly value these people, I communicate with them personally, with everyone. And I believe that until the end of my days they will be with me, no matter what the circumstances. Among them are many women. After successful operations, we change their appearance, documents, they live with a different last name. These are real female agents," Maliuk said.
He added that the President highly values these talented, genuinely caring, courageous people.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, journalist Denys Bihus confirmed that he is indeed a freelance employee of the Military Counterintelligence Department of the Security Service of Ukraine.
