110th Brigade stopped russian offensive in Sumy Region and recaptured Andriivka

Units of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after General-Coroner Mark Bezruchko, working together with adjacent units, recaptured Andriivka in the Sumy Region and began pushing the occupiers closer to the border with russia. It was reported in the Brigade's Telegram channel.

It is reported that the units of the BTGr (battalion tactical group) of the 110th Brigade were tasked with stopping the main russian attack in the direction of Sumy. The military organized the defense literally "from the wheels", the fighters of the 110th Brigade entered the battle immediately after arriving at the position. The defenders claim that the situation in this direction was similar to Ocheretyne, where the enemy was actively advancing.

"In a wooded area, the fighters set up positions under fire, holding the line when the enemy was already two fields from Pysarivka - a key settlement on the way to the regional center. Without full-fledged equipment, since the terrain does not allow for full use, with only small arms, they restrained the breakthrough and forced the enemy to get bogged down in positional battles," the report says.

The 110th Motorized Rifle Brigade also reports that, together with adjacent units, it managed to retake Andriivka and begin to push the enemy closer to the border.

"In response, the Russians threw everything - from kamikaze drones to aviation KABs. The enemy suffered heavy losses. The density of fire is colossal. But the 110th is holding on. The defense forces continue to hold the defense of the Sumy Region," the Brigade says.

The 110th Motorized Rifle Brigade reminds that they are collecting UAH 1,000,000 for anti-motorcycle work for our soldiers - everyone who donates has a chance to win an iPhone 16.

As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, the soldiers of the 110th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Brigadier General Mark Bezruchko have been present in the hottest spots of the front since the first days of the full-scale invasion. After two years in the Avdiivka direction, where the Ukrainian military held back the offensive of the army of the occupying russian army, the 110th Motorized Rifle Brigade was transferred to the Pokrovsk direction, which is today considered one of the most difficult.
