The Cabinet of Ministers has allocated UAH 238 million for the completion of the construction of military engineering and fortification structures in the Kharkiv and Chernihiv Regions. This is stated in order No. 581 dated June 18, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
"To allocate UAH 237,726.09 for the implementation of measures related to strengthening the state's defense capability, to complete the construction of military engineering and fortification structures, fortification equipment of defense lines, and the installation of a system of non-explosive barriers," the document states.
In particular, UAH 210.4 million was allocated for the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, UAH 27.3 million for the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration.
The Ministry of Finance has been instructed to make the specified expenditures on a non-refundable basis at the expense of the state budget reserve fund.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, in January the Cabinet of Ministers instructed to transfer all fortifications to the Ministry of Defense.
