Poltava Region bans mass events for almost week due to threat of shelling

In the Poltava Region, mass events are banned from June 18 to 24 due to the increased threat of air attacks by the aggressor country russia.

Poltava City Council member Maksym Malko reported this on his Facebook.

"Friends, I would like to inform you that the event scheduled for Sunday, June 22 (Krutyi Bereh, School No. 35, 10:00 a.m.), is tentatively postponed to June 28. The reason is the relevant decision of the Poltava Region Defense Council dated September 14, 2023 No. 51, put into effect by the order of the head of the Regional Military Administration, on the ban on mass events in the period from June 18, 2025 to June 24, 2025," Malko reported.

According to him, such a decision was made due to the increased likelihood of air strikes on facilities in the city of Poltava and the district.

"I ask you to be understanding of the situation and not to ignore the air alert signals. Safety comes first," he added.

We will remind you that on the night of June 15, russia attacked the Poltava Region with drones and missiles, hitting energy and agricultural infrastructure facilities, as well as houses.
