President Volodymyr Zelenskyy summed up the results of the G7 summit, which was held from June 15 to 17 in Canada.
This was reported in the statement of the head of state.
Zelenskyy thanked the partners for specific decisions to strengthen military support for Ukraine, as well as for new financial injections that will be made at the expense of frozen russian assets.
The head of Ukraine also noted that the partners are ready not only to support Ukraine's defense now, but also to rebuild the country together after the end of the war.
He emphasized that the allies are not only ready to support Ukrainian defense today, but also undertake obligations to participate in the post-war reconstruction of the state.
The President paid special attention to the decision on new sanctions. The restrictions affected the russian "shadow fleet", individuals and more than 40 companies that contribute to the circumvention of already existing sanctions.
"I thank everyone who helps us fight against russian aggression and, together with Ukraine, builds a strong security architecture of the future," said Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
