On June 16, 186 combat clashes took place on the front, the hottest axes were Pokrovsk (56 clashes), North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk (38).
The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has stated this in its operational update, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
Over the past day, the invaders carried out 2 missile and 56 air strikes on the territory of Ukraine, using 5 missiles and 110 guided aerial bombs.
In addition, the enemy attracted 3,226 kamikaze drones for destruction and carried out 5,481 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, including 96 from multiple launch rocket systems.
On June 16, 186 combat clashes with the russian occupiers were recorded on the front.
Thus, on the North-Slobozhanshchyna and Kursk axes since the beginning of the day, Ukrainian soldiers have repelled 38 enemy assault actions.
In addition, the enemy has carried out 14 air strikes here, dropping 32 guided bombs, and has also carried out 225 attacks on the positions of Ukrainian troops and settlements, including one with MLRS.
On the North-Slobozhanshchyna axis, the russians have stormed positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine four times in the areas of Dovhenke and Kamianka.
On the Kupiansk axis, there have been four attacks by the invaders.
The defense forces have repelled enemy assault actions on the areas of the settlements of Stepova, Novoselivka, Zahryzove and towards Holubivka and Petropavlivka.
On the Lyman axis, the enemy has attacked seven times, trying to advance near the settlements of Kopanky, Nadiia, Hrekivka, Ridkodub and Kolodiazi.
On the Siversk axis, in the area of Hryhorivka, the russians attacked Ukrainian army positions once.
On the Kramatorsk axis, 12 clashes were recorded in the areas of Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka and towards Bila Hora.
On the Toretsk axis, the enemy carried out 18 attacks in the areas of Toretsk, Dyliivka and towards Shcherbynivka, Rusyn Yar and Yablunivka.
On the Pokrovsk axis, Ukrainian defenders stopped 56 assault and offensive actions of the aggressor in the areas of the settlements of Popiv Yar, Myroliubivka, Shevchenko Pershe, Promin, Udachne, Novoserhiivka, Horikhove, Kotliarivka, Novopavlivka, Andriivka and Oleksiivka.
On the Novopavlivka axis, the enemy attacked Ukrainian army positions 28 times in the areas of the settlements of Novosilka, Vilne Pole, Bahatyr, Burlatske and towards Zaporizhzhia and Shevchenko.
On the Huliaipole axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled four offensive actions of enemy units near Malynivka.
On the Orikhiv axis, Ukrainian defenders repelled two enemy assaults near Nesterianka.
On the Dnieper axis, Ukrainian soldiers repelled an attack by the occupiers in the area of the Antonivskyi bridge.
Over the past day, aviation, missile troops and artillery of the Defense Forces struck eight areas of concentration of personnel, weapons and military equipment, five artillery pieces and one other important enemy facility.
In total, the losses of the russian invaders on June 16 amounted to 1,060 people.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on June 15, 175 combat clashes took place at the front, with the enemy attacking most on the Pokrovsk (46 clashes) and Novopavlivka (33) axes.
