Enemy launches massive attack on Kyiv at night. Authorities speak about consequences of strike

On the night of Tuesday, June 17, the military of the aggressor country russia launched another massive strike on Kyiv with drones and missiles. There were killed, injured and significant destruction in various areas of the capital. This is stated in the reports of the Kyiv City Military Administration and Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

As of 8:01 a.m., 55 injured people were known in Kyiv, and their number is increasing. More than 40 people were taken to the city's medical facilities. Klitschko noted that there is currently no exact information about the killed, as rescuers continue to work on the ground.

According to Klitschko, in the Solomianskyi District, in particular, they are clearing rubble in a residential building where an entire entrance collapsed. Preliminary information from rescuers and the police said 14 people were killed.

He also reported that headquarters have been deployed in the Solomianskyi and Darnytskyi Districts to assist all those affected by the massive russian attack on Kyiv.

In addition, damage to a kindergarten in the Darnytskyi District and an industrial area in the Dniprovskyi District is known. In the Podilskyi District, debris was recorded falling in open areas in two locations. In the Sviatoshynskyi District, the attack damaged a residential building. Damage to non-residential buildings was recorded in the Darnytskyi District.
