On the night of Saturday, June 14, russian troops launched 58 drones over the territory of Ukraine, the Air Defense Forces managed to shoot down 23 UAVs, another 20 drones were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare means.
The press service of the Air Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this on the Telegram channel, the Ukrainian News agency reports.
It is noted that on the night of June 14 (from 10 p.m. on June 12), the enemy attacked Ukraine with 58 Shahed attack UAVs and simulator drones of various types from the directions: Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Shatalove, Primorsko-Akhtarsk - the russian federation.
The main directions of the air strike were the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia Regions.
"As of 8:30 a.m., air defense neutralized 43 enemy Shahed UAVs (drones of other types) in the north, east and south of the country. 23 were shot down by fire weapons, 20 were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare," the report said.
Enemy air attack means hit in 9 locations, and downed air attack means (fragments) fell in 5 locations.
As the Ukrainian News agency earlier reported, on the night of June 13, the russians launched 55 drones and 4 ballistic missiles over the territory of Ukraine, the Air Defense Forces managed to shoot down 28 UAVs, and another 15 drones were lost/suppressed by electronic warfare.
