Israel has been preparing for years for an operation against Iran's nuclear and missile programs.
This is reported by The Times of Israel.
The special operation was carried out jointly by the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Mossad.
During the operation, Israeli agents created drone bases near Tehran. These devices, according to a source in the Israeli security forces, were activated at night and attacked Iranian surface-to-surface missile launchers aimed at Israel.
Specialized vehicles with high-precision weapons were also brought into the country. These systems destroyed elements of Iranian air defense, opening up space for Israeli aviation to operate.
The third component of the operation was the deployment of Mossad commando units in central Iran, near key anti-aircraft installations. They were armed with precision missiles and provided support for strikes on strategic targets.
As a reminder, on the night of June 13, Israel carried out airstrikes on targets in Iran that it claimed were related to its nuclear program. The aim of the attack was to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons.
According to reports, the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, Hossein Salami, was killed in the shelling. Ayatollah Ali Khamenei acknowledged the losses among the command and promised revenge to Israel.
As a reminder, on June 1, the Security Service of Ukraine conducted a unique special operation, as a result of which four strategic air bases in Russia were hit: Olenya, Ivanovo, Diaghilev, and Belaya. According to the head of the SSU, Vasyl Maliuk, who personally led the operation, more than 40 russian strategic aircraft were hit. To carry out the operation, the SSU brought drones to russia in advance and hid them under the roofs of modular houses. The houses were transported by trucks to positions near the airfields. At a certain point, the roofs of the houses opened, and the drones flew to destroy the planes.
